It’s a cute story I use very often. It’s so easy to be understood by kids. Amazingly almost every child can say the story once I finish it with simple sentence patterns.
To do this story well, students had better know key words and prepositions. Then use the sentence patterns I suggest and list them after the end of the story. When telling the story to kids, keep on using the pattens. You’ll see how effective after you finish the story. You cue them. They will tell you the story.
Another way to use the story is asking kids to write the story in words. It’s simple and fun. Since it’s a picture book without languages, you can use any languages to teach.
